The 2012 Natchez Trace Adventure Race will consist of a 4 to 6 hour race and a 7 to 12 hour race. The 4 to 6 hour race will come with maps and plotted points provided by race management, where as the 7-12 hour race will not come with plotted points.  You may compete as a 2 or 3 person team. Each team will trek/run, mountain bike, canoe and mystery event yourself through challenging adventure race obstacles.     

 

The 7 to 12 Hour race will start at 7:00am followed by the 4 to 6 hour race at 9:00am. 

The 7 to 12 hour participants will be given a map of the area, a set of instructions, and coordinates.  Each team will be set free at 7:00am, the first team back with the most check points captured in the fastest time wins.  

The 4 to 6 hour race is a little different than the 12 hour race. Your team captain will be given a map with points that are marked on the map and then proceed to these points following the race management instructions. The race course will close at 3:00 pm or 6 hours after the start.

Your team can consist of 3 people any gender or 2 people any gender. Please review the website for your team and individual requirements, gear requirements and course descriptions.
